Under the Patronage of Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation, the Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival was on its 4th annual festival. Zaahirah was awarded the Artist of the year 2016, where 76 local and international artists participated
The Outstanding Young Person Award 2012
The Outstanding Young Person Award 2012-TOYP is an annual Award organized by JCI-Mauritius to recognize the most performing young person in their respective field. Zaahirah has been nominated for The Outstanding Young Person 2012 (TYOP) by ‘Jeunes Chambre International’- JCI Mauritius. It serves to formally recognize young people who excel in their chosen fields and create positive change.
Youth Excellence Award 2008
Zaahirah has been awarded the ‘Youth Excellence Award 2008′ in the category of Youth Leadership. It is an annual initiative of Ministry of Youth and Sports in Mauritius for rewarding the outstanding young people in different category such as Entrepreneurship, Artistic, Leadership, Community Work and Environment. My project EYE-LP (Empowering Young Emerging Leaders) has conquered the panel of the juries.

Zaahirah was awarded the winner of the 4th Edition of ‘Oscar de la Jeunesse’ in Artistic Pursuit. The award was organized by Ministry of Youth and Sports in Mauritius for the extraordinary young people at the national level in the field of Leadership, Artistic Pursuit, Entrepreneurship and Community work. .
